Re: March 1998 BMW 328i

I wish I could afford your m3. Unfortunately it's well out of my price range for insurance, running costs and just generally :(

I've spotted a MK1 MR2 on manxads so might give that a look and see if the guy's interested in a swap for the BMW. Open to...

Re: March 1998 BMW 328i

Have had to insure and tax for another year, so re-thinking my options.

If anyone is interested, please give me a shout.

Would potentially swap

Re: Mk4 Golf TDI Turbo issue

Well, good news, turbo seems to be working properly again. Got the car back from the mechanic, was driving it to work and got limp mode. Re: Fault code reader

I just went for the software registration of $99 (http://store.ross-tech.com/shop/VCDSLiteReg.html). The OBD2 cable is a generic usb one I got a while back and luckily it works. Depending on how things go, I might buy one of the proper ross-tech cables in the future.

Re: Mk4 Golf TDI Turbo issue

Mechanic mr muscled the turbo, cleaned the intake/egr and found a split vacuum hose which he's now replaced. Car is running much better but need to log it before I know for certain. Fingers crossed :)
